TIME OUT

I just wanted to tell you how my bachelorette party was a nightmare. I started the night telling my girls that I didn't want drink much because I wasn't feeling well. They were all like no we are getting you messed up. So I started the night like this

These are my bm's the one on the right end is my older sister and my parents are really upset with her.
So I ended the night in the hospital. I'm not totally blaming them but as a bride if you want to keep giving me drinks and things the least you should do is look out for me. So at the end of the night we was outside the club. The girls were busy flirting with guys then this is how I get injured.

I SAW MY MOH GET IN SOME STRANGE GUY'S TRUCK SO I WENT ACROSS THE STREET TO GET HER BECAUSE I'M LIKE OH NO. WELL TRYING TO HELP HER OUT I FEEL OFF THE CURB HIT MY HEAD AND BLACKED OUT.
So they took me back to the hotel and I kept saying call my fi and they wouldn't so finally I got my phone and was crying telling him to come get me (at this point no one told me my head was bleeding or anything) he gets there and is soo upset because they told him I was fine (which I wasn't ) and tried to put a band aid on my head and tried to get me to lay down.
He took me to the hospital and they said it was serious anytime you hit your head and that I could have died from it if not treated (I thought about that celebrity natasha richards who died from an head injury after skiing). I had to have a cat scan and TWO MRI'S because I had high density on the front of my brain from the injury and they needed to make sure the hemotoma didn't go through my brain and I had brain bleeding. So now I'm on 48hrs bed rest and I can't get anything done. My mother is going to stay with me for the rest of the week while my fI goes to work. On top of that I don't have insurance and I would be covered in two wks and I'm scared of what this bill will look like when it comes in.

Finally I'm so depressed that my face won't heal by the wedding and I keep crying that I will look back at my pictures and have a constant memory of this. It may sound anal but when you spend so much on photography and you want to look beautiful for the big day and I may look ugly. My arms and my legs are scraped up and it's just a mess.
Please pray that I heal fast and my face heals too. I won't be on here probably to next week so you know why.

Here's what I looked like in the hospital and it's more severe in person my whole face is swollen.

Bridal Hostess Gifts

Wrapping up my bridal shower posts I would like to share with you the lovely gifts I gave to my MM's for hosting such a wonderful shower. It couldn't have been perfect timing that my shower was around the time of semi-annual sales. So I decided to go with the "From My Shower to Yours" theme and search for gifts that fit the concept. Here's some pictures of the gifts I passed out at the end of the shower, thanking my MM's!

The tags where made in MSWord and I downloaded a ducky graphic to add to it

The bags contained : body sponge, wash and lotion, a candle and cooling face mask

This is a picture of my junior bridesmaid gift (my little sister) who is only 10 yrs old, so I wanted to get her something different from the other MM's. She is in love with body spray/perfume so I got her a few different scents enclosed in this pink case which she can reuse as a pencil case for school (being resourceful people!). She loved her gift so much that she didn't put it down the whole night, she simply kept carrying it.. (soo cute)!

Sometimes the simple little things mean the most. My MM's weren't expecting a gift and they were pleasantly surprised when I handed them out. You don't have to spend tons of money to show your appreciation, because the little things adds up to become big things :)

Are you giving gifts to those who host your shower? If so, what is it?
